The context
Art collectors owning over 500 works have an ambitious project: creating a new kind of museum in Manhattan, Kansas. A venue combining traditional art, an NFT gallery, and a large-scale immersive experience.
The building is under construction. The immersive space: 3,400 m² of projection (walls and floors). A world first.
They are looking for a trusted partner to design and deliver this system.
The challenge
Projecting onto 3,400 m² (37,000 sq ft) of surface
Coordinating 108 Epson projectors
Running 26 Modulo Kinetic servers in perfect synchronization
Ensuring absolute reliability (open 7 days a week, public ticketing)
Allowing flexibility for private events
Working with a US-based integrator (Diversified)
Providing tools for the in-house team to create their own content
My mission
I supported the Museum of Art + Light for 2 years, from design to operations:
Scoping & design
